Over the years, BMI has moved many different types of industry plants within Europe. Most commonly, the moving of a plant means dismantling major units into sections suitable for transport by truck. When the various transport units arrive at the new installation site, BMI usually takes over the internal transport within the site up to the prepared, surveyed and checked new foundation.
The sections are installed into units as planned, and sometimes upgraded replacement sections are prefabricated and fitted into the old unit as it is overhauled or modernised. BMI plays an active part, and manages the whole moving process until the newly installed plant is tested and commissioned into full production again.
